More About Our Firm

Our law office is steeped in family history. The dream began in 1940 when Arnold Cameron received his law degree. In 1946, he began a solo practice, and several years later, together with partners, built the firm on South Jefferson Avenue where it stands today. In 1968, his son Bill Cameron joined the firm and in 1972, Arnold’s daughter Anne Cameron also joined, both having graduated from Vanderbilt University. 

All practicing heavily in the areas of real estate, civil law and insurance work, Bill began to add experience in personal injury, criminal and domestic work. Anne passed away of breast cancer in 1988, and Arnold later died in 1993. 

One of the firm’s most notable points outside of its long-standing history,  is the number of new attorneys that have passed through and had invaluable mentorship from the elder attorneys. 

Over the course of 79 years this office has been established, more than 20 attorneys have weaved in and out, gaining experience and knowledge to begin their careers.
