Bill graduated from Vanderbilt Law School in 1968. His early work in the family firm was in real estate and insurance claims, but soon he developed a desire to be more hands-on with those in need. He moved into the areas of criminal and domestic work, all the while his personal injury business excelled as he battled for those who were suffering tragedy. In 1996, he won a judgment of over $2 MILLION for a client who was severely injured at work and battled through the Court of Appeals and Supreme Court to secure his victory. That landmark case is even referenced in law school curriculums in the state of Tennessee for its turning point in law. 

Since that time, Bill has continued to vigorously defend clients’ rights in the areas of personal injury, workers’ compensation, criminal defense, civil litigation. divorce and child custody actions, among others. His reputation of excellence and respect for others draws admiration from other members of the bar, judges, and clients alike.
