about

Nolan began his practice in 1979 working with Rankin Bennett as well as David Ledbetter. Learning title searches in part from attorney Anne Cameron, he began to practice flawlessly in real estate law, estate planning, and civil law. In 1996, Nolan was sworn in as the General Sessions Judge for Putnam County and presided over civil disputes, domestic issues, juvenile matters and estates.  He served the county for 18 years as judge and because of this time, he gained invaluable experience and knowledge to pair with his upstanding reputation.

In 2014, Nolan left the bench and began practicing with our firm. He has been an incredible addition to our team and has brought a unique perspective as a former judge that helps to serve clients in preparing for court. This experience is unmatched by any other in the community and his clients appreciate his sound and thorough advice.

"Mr. Goolsby worked on my case for over a year. He was always available to answer my questions & to let me know the latest details as my case progressed. Mr, Goolsby & his staff treated me with respect & a visit to his office was a pleasant experience.

I felt that he had my best interest in mind & gave me the best advice on how to proceed to settle my case. I highly recommend him & his staff to anyone who needs legal advice or representation. Not only did I hire an attorney, I gained some new friends!"
